EPS Receives 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant! We are thrilled to announce that Extera Public School, in partnership with After-School All-Stars, is the recipient of a 21st Century Grant! These important funds will go toward supporting our after-school activites and programs on our Breed and Second Street campuses for the 2019-2020 school year. This award follows on the heels of EPS2l, which is presently benefitting from a grant for this current school year. Thanks to our great partners, After-School All-Stars!
EPS2 Named as a "Top Performing Los Angeles School for Underserved Students" Congratulations to Extera Public School No. 2, which is one of 279 schools being recognized this year in Innovate Public Schools' first annual report Top Los Angeles Public Schools for Underserved Students in collaboration with the University of Southern California Sol Price Center for Social Innovation and Rossier School of Education Center for Education Policy, Equity and Governance. Extera Public School #2 made the list based on our strong results in English and/or math proficiency for low-income African American and/or low-income Latino students in 2017-18.
