EPS2 Named as a "Top Performing Los Angeles School for Underserved Students"

Congratulations to Extera Public School No. 2, which is one of the 279 schools being recognized this year in Innovate Public Schools' first annual report Top Los Angeles Public Schools for Underserved Students in collaboration with the University of Southern California Sol Price Center for Social Innovation and Rossier School of Education Center for Education Policy, Equity and Governance. Extera Public School #2 made the list based on our strong results in English and/or math proficiency for low-income African American and/or low-income Latino students in 2017-18.

We are proud for being one among few in the region that is getting closer to the goal of providing a quality education for all kids. This recognition motivates us even more to ensure that all students get the opportunities they deserve to do their absolute best and to achieve their academic goals.

School leaders will be receiving the award at a special celebration ceremony and learning event on Saturday, May 4th.
