About Mrs. Salas

For those of you who do not know me, I am one of the founding teachers of Extera. I have worked for LAUSD as an Assistant Teacher, taught in Pasadena Unified in grades 3-6th for 4 years, and then Extera and I found each other. At Extera I have had the pleasure in serving as an RST, SpEd Coordinator, Program Coordinator, and now as a School Director.

I grew up in the Highland Park/ Eagle Rock area, and went to High School at Francisco Bravo Medical Magnet High School. My parents are currently Spanish teachers there. I went to college at Occidental College, then pursued my Masters in Teaching and Masters in Special Education at Point Loma University. I also went to school at Azusa Pacific University for my Administrative Credential.
